Budget appropriations fund the lesser-known
Tucked away in the budget bill the General Assembly adopted Sunday are appropriations that would fund the upkeep of Confederate graves in Fredericksburg and Portsmouth: $1,550 for the care of 310 graves at Fredericksburg Cemetery and $2,035 for the care of 407 graves at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Portsmouth.
