In Kerala, Aviation Training Centre, Chakkai-Shanghumugom, Thiruvananthapuram, is the only training centre. Due to lack of trainer aircraft, flying training gets held up frequently. But there is a provision for CPL training for 10 students. Flying charge per hour is Rs.2,750.
Here, CPL training will cost more than Rs.10 lakhs. Those who have passed Plus Two with physics and mathematics with high marks are eligible to get admission for CPL training. Selection is based on test and interview. Phone 0471 – 2501496, 2501753
