My friend was in a flight program at his school that would allow him to recieve his pilot’s liscense when he’s 17 which is in 3 months. The program was canceled a few weeks ago and he found out it will cost him $17,000 to finish his training. He cant afford to continue it and this is his life. Any ideas on how he could continue his training would be very helpful.

He could look for scholarships and apply for federal grants. Otherwise take out a student loan.

It usually costs $5,000-8,000 for all the training needed to get one’s PPL. He might want to look at other flight schools and see how much they would charge.

Why dont he try this website http://beapilot.com/. Im interested in flying too. Even if the program was cancled he can try to resume were he was at with a new flight school. He could give the new flight school teacher were he left off at and what he already know. It would hurt to go over a few ” hard to learn steps “. Good luck to you and your friend !
