Hi! The turbine transition is done and payed by the helicopter companies in Hawaii (like Safari, Blue Hawaiian etc.) when they employ you. They use their own helicopters AS350 or EC130. So there is no need to spend money for a turbine rating – at least

Everyone’s trained in R22′s and 44′s at Maunaloa Helicopters, but all the students are now flying Turbine helicopters. I was wondering, after watching all 4 parts of the video, if they do transitions from piston to turbine. It wasn’t mentioned.
