Im currently going to college, going for my AS degree in aviation. Im interested in becoming a Helicopter pilot and my adviser keeps saying its one of the hardest jobs to attain when talking about money. I just wanted to know whats an estimated cost for flight training. My adviser says, it can cost around 40-50 thousand dollars before I become officially employed.

What your instructor failed to tell you is there is an excess of helicopter pilots so unless you have a full college degree and about 2,000 hours don’t give up your day job.
