This video is very brief and they want you to buy more videos to show the pre-flight, and setup take down.

I am on my way to become a Trike pilot, I have logged about 6 hours so far. I just bought this dvd and I am very pleased with it. It covers all the basics of trike flying and handling. When I watch this dvd what I learn is that there are a lot of things that my instructor tells me from time to time that I later forget, This dvd reinforces those concepts and permanently burns them in my memory…Personally, I think that a new student should watch this dvd as many times it takes them to know and REMEMBER all the different trike handling concepts and then start taking lessons from an instructor. Some of the Pros and Cons of the dvd
PROS: The dvd covers pretty much all the basic aspects of flying a trike such as the following topics.
FIRST FLIGHTS: Preflight, Startup, Taxi, Takeoff, Turns, Climb and Descent, Patterns, Airport, Low pass, landing and shut down.
PRACTICAL MANUVERS: Steep turns, Stalls, Slipping turns to descend, throttle control, emergency procedures, airport procedures, engine outs.
FURTHER STUDY: Ultralight instruments: Engine, Airspeeds, Vertical refrence, Cross country, Emergency.
CONS: Although not a huge con but for some of us on budgets, for forty bucks Paul’s team could have included Preflighting and setting up a trike wing in this dvd, since these topics are part of triking (instead of making seperate dvds for these topics). Again I don’t see it as a huge con but something to think about.
In the end I still think that for any to be Trike pilot and even BFI’s it will be a good resource.
