This is a test video of sorts to show my carbon scout indoor airplane made from parts from the Wowee Dragonfly, and my smaller infra red one made from the Air Hogs Cyclone prop, motor, and radio. The idea is to use the radio gear you can buy locally and end up with an airplane that is worth the ‘store bought’ airplanes that can cost over $300! Its our fun hobby, thanks for watching! Do RC model airplanes have a function which will make the plane return to the remote control transmitter?

I was just wondering, when novices are starting off with remote control airplanes(which have a large range), and they have trouble landing it, is there any option to have the plane return to the remote control transmitter and land it ? this is assuming this is some kind of high end model airplane which has a sensor to judge the altitude

PS: I dont know anything about RC airplanes, was just wondering if anything like what i mentioned exists

My 10 year old son was the camera man while I flew my RC airplanes. The white/blue plane is a “Thunder Tiger Champion 45L’ with a Super Tiger .51 motor. And the red, white & blue plane is a “Extra 300″ with a .61 Super Tiger motor. It flew with no problems on my first flight, after that, I couldn’t get the air/fule mixture right on it. This is the first time I have flown them in about 8 years, so I spent most of the day working out some of the bugs.
