My wife and me, departing at the Boulder City airport, passing the Hoover Dam, flying the Las Vegas Class B transition and having a quick stop at the Furnace Creek airstrip in the Death Valley. Finally, we fly to the Fullerton Airport in the Los Angeles area. On our flight to the Death Valley, the Death Valley lake was filled with water – an extremely rare event! The plane is a Cessna 172 with the G1000. We rented it from the flight school ‘Westwind Aviation’, which is located at the Phoenix Deer Valley airport.
