As a hobby, I’m going to start flying electric RC helicopters, but I’m not exactly sure about what I should look for. Also, what’s a reasonable price tag? and what are some good sites to buy from?

I am looking to get my commercial helicopters pilot licence and was wondering if anyone KNEW FOR SURE if there was a good helicopter flight school in the northeast/ new england area that accepted chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill? I have no experience, and am completely starting from scratch in this area. Also is there other funding available in different areas?

I’m 17 and I want to be a helicopter pilot. I’m not planning on doing training or anything like that until after I graduate high school (2010). But does anyone have a suggestion for where I should get training for it? I don’t want to go into the Military though. Also, I’m short (5′ 2″) does that make any difference?

I am looking or a good RC helicopter, sub 400 dollars that could carry a 1/2 pound camera (specifically a go pro hero). If it is possible some sort of stabilization would be optimal. And i prefer electric over gas. Any ideas?

i mean how do u get selected for flying commercial jets ? what are the pay packages in india and abroad?
by the way,is the training for flying an aircraft really expensive?
is it better to first go in the Indian Armed Forces and then go for being a pilot in commercial jets?

Has anyone heard of National Pilot Academy? I just found it on the internet yesterday and it has locations in nevada, utah, and arizona. It teaches you in a faster pace so you can get your license sooner and they help you with everything like financial aid and finding an apartment and get you good airline jobs or any jobs in aviation. I was just wondering if anyone heard of them or ever went there, I would like your input on them.

I have been trying to talk my parents into letting me take flying lessons for a few years now. They seem to know I am serious about pursuing the career of an airline pilot, but still don’t want to let me fly. We have the money to do so, but they want me to come up with better reasons to take the lessons. Anyone that was ever in the same situation or a pilot?
