I want to find out about flying lessons (small planes/helicopters). The requirements, the estimated costs, etc. I live in Maryland. Has anyone taken lessons just to take them and was it worth it?
Not looking for “lessons” necessarily. I’m looking for just a joyride I guess. But flying it myself with the trainer by my side.
I want to get my private pilot license and have already completed ground school as part of an aviation camp and just need flight time and the FAA test to get it. Money is super tight and I need the cheapest place to log flight time in the houston area. Preferably closer to the NW portion of houston, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers.
This was my first time trying Trapeze. I am not afraid of heights and therefore had the time of my life! This was in La Romana, Resort Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace, in November 2010.
