If you’ve read any of my other questions, you know I’m going to be a whirly pilot. I am going for my commercial license. I’d like to learn to fly planes eventually. I know it works that you knock a few hours off by going through plane lessons first, but does it work in reverse?

Im pretty young but i want to be a pilot when im older, so I was wondering if anyone knew where to learn to fly
how old you have to be to become a pilot
what you have to do to become a pilot for instance what subjects are essential
and if being a pilot is an acheivable dream
does it have good pay and does it require jumping out of planes?

Say I want to buy a Pesco pump or an HYDRO-AIRE electrical solenoid valve with a certain part number, will the vendors sell parts to the average person off the street? What is the process and the needed paper work to make a purchase? I understand that some vendors will not sell to you if you don’t have anything to do with the aircraft industry.

I was just wondering, when novices are starting off with remote control airplanes(which have a large range), and they have trouble landing it, is there any option to have the plane return to the remote control transmitter and land it ? this is assuming this is some kind of high end model airplane which has a sensor to judge the altitude

PS: I dont know anything about RC airplanes, was just wondering if anything like what i mentioned exists

I’m completely torn on which to learn. I want to fly, but I’m not sure what. I love planes and their smooth relatively quiet gliding, but I like helicopters and their ability to hover in one area and land pretty much anywhere, but they’re also very loud, I just can’t make up my mind, please help!

I know you can go to various small airports to learn how to fly a single-motored propeller plane. I have one (airport) that teaches you how to fly a couple of miles away.
But, my question is, where do you go to learn how to fly a plane that has jets instead of propellers?

I see the plane flying and the banner or billboard follows behind it without flapping. It seems to remain vertical & fully deployed. I saw the G.I.E.C.O insurance ad flying over Turner Field in Atl.
