This is a video from May 31, 2009. I flew a Cessna 172 from Sussex NJ (FWN) to Blairstown NJ (1N7). The morning was already a bit rough but by no means unbearable. Later on during the day convective turbulence was picking up due to strong instability coming in from the north and driving thermals. My brother preflighted and flew a Schweizer 2-33 with his instructor. When he got back we took a flight to Stroudsberg, PA and returned to Blairstown. Finally we took a return flight to Sussex which was very rough but ended well with a good landing.</p>
