I’m wondering what the helicopter is and what it’s affiliated to…since it’s been flying around my house occasionally…
I live in the Los Angeles county area if this helps…

It is hard to answer without knowing your location.
Maybe it’s these guys:

(Added):
Does the helicopter in that link look familiar? Universal Helicopters primarily does flight training, but many flight schools also do light commercial work like aerial photography or surveys.
They may simply have been taking pictures of something in your area, surveying a property for a developer, giving sightseeing rides, or doing a traffic report. It is also possible that a flight school or charter operation has opened a new base in your area. In any event, most of the helicopters you see are not doing terribly exciting jobs. Occasionally you will see police or air ambulance helicopters, but those would probably not be so colorfully painted, and they are less likely to visit the same area very often unless a hospital is there.
