Its making my dogs freak out
he keeps flying back and forth really low
You need to identify the Helicopter by going out and looking at it. If it is low enough you may be able to see the Numbers on the side of it. Then call the Local FSDO or Flight Standard District Office. Here is their number: 1-866-TELL-FAA.

No one. It isnt a bad thing. It’s probably the news or or someone trying to see something…like the cops, a repair company, etc. Dont worry about it, unless youre britney spears and they want you picture.

first you need to realize that they have every legal right to do what they are doing. It does not sound like they are violating any laws, so there is only so far you can go. Look closely at it next time and you will see a series of numbers and letters that begin with N if you live in the us. In Canada it will be a series of letters beginning with C.
If you can’t see a number it is likely military and you can’t do a thing about it. Google the number and see what. If it is a flight school your in luck. Give them a call and tell them where you live and what the problem is. Be nice about it and they are likely to avoid the area where you live. Anything other than a flight school and they are probably doing a specific job which they are being paid to do. Just like someone in your street with a jack hammer, you might not like it (I know I don’t) but they are just doing what they have to do.

There are people in the helicopter. Your dogs are just animals. We’re higher on the food chain. Helicopter wins. Dogs lose. Sorry.

First off you do have a right to your peace and quiet. That’s why airports do noise studies…anyway if you have any airports that are medium to large hub, they’ll have their own airport operations office…you may also want to see if there are any helicopter flight schools in your area. If there is a flight school or the large airport you can put in a complaint.
